LFW SS12: Day Two

As expected! Day Two favourite was Welsh-born Julian Macdonald for me. His edgy blend of masculine tailoring, bright, popping colours and figure-hugging contours makes his collection one of the most wearable to walk down the runway. This collection saw a blend of Asian glamour brocading and sharp forms - reflected with those fierce heels and concubine-red lips!
Another favourite was Daks, with their Burberry-esque patterns, yet with a unique Daks-only twist. I love the matching bag (right). The simple lines from Daks are definitely a one to watch next year, I'm seeing them everywhere! Keeping to basic colours, Daks made a chic and another very wearable collection. I think that our designers are making this upcoming season the most easy to imitate from the highstreet, with basic styles and colours making the keys trends and keeping the tailoring simple.
When it comes to hair and beauty, Day Two winner has to be Vivienne Westwood's Red Label collection. Just check out the Addams-family hair do's! The bright primary-coloured eyes add to Viv's rocky and rebellious side, accentuating the colours in the outfits - yes, I do believe that matching your beauty to your fashion could be back in for next Spring!
