New Look A/W

It might be a bit early in the weather stakes to think about cold snaps and fireplaces, but the fash-pack are always ahead of the curve. If you're not keeping an eye on New Look's Facebook page, then you are missing out! They have posted their new range for Autumn/Winter, and it is fabulous! Filled with pastels and nudes, frilled clutches and statement jewellery, this is the perfect range for winter warmers. Think bobble hats and scarves, short faux-fur coats over long elegant dresses. But best of all are their shoes! Tan flat brogues, and statement monochrome heels. However, these are my current favourite... Smart and sassy and just so beautiful. They're warming my cockles already!

Agy's Tees

It's not a dream - it's true. Agyness Deyn is designed her very own range of grunge Tees for Uniqlo! Partnered up with equally gorgeous sister (designer Emily Deyn, Hussaindeyn), Agy has designed a range of Tee-shirts printed with punk-rock Polaroid pictures. These gorgeous designs hit stores tomorrow for just £12.99 a pop!

Saucy Undies

This underwear-as-outerwear trend is bang on the money at the moment... if you've got the figure for it. I don't know about you guys, but I'm holding on to some winter-weight, and don't feel quite that confident yet. So, for the transition stage, I've decided to splash out on some sexy underwear. I've just discovered myla.com - this gorgeous underwear site with everything from boudoir beauties to everyday undies. I spotted this cute set on the "new in" page, and just couldn't resist. Check out myla.com for some seriously pretty sets, and get some summer inspiration. So you might not be sporting lacy bras over your top, but you definitely know that you're wearing something irresistible!

Pick of the Day

Sunglasses are one of the most important accessories at my disposal. They hide a multitude of sins, and can make an outfit. Try getting a slice of Topgun with some dazzling aviator shades. Timeless classics and the epitome of cool, aviator shades are favourites of celebs and fashionistas alike. Go ultra reflective to hide the glare from the paparazzi and summer sun, or soft and with a hint of retro-hippy chic. I love these gold-framed aviators from Asos, just £19.50.

Forget Russell Crowe...

Gladiator sandals appeared with a bang a few seasons ago now, but every summer without fail, they're up there with the best of them. I have to say, j'adore gladiators because they're just so flattering! Honestly - who can say that feet are attractive? So, the only thing for it, is to shower your feet in beautiful shoes. Where best to start than gladiators? These gorgeous things are great for maxi dresses, shorts, jeans, jeggings and just with a bikini on the beach! So your first instinct might be to go simple. Don't! It's my opinion that you want to go as mad and studded as you possibly can - go with studs and buckles and metallics and straps up your calves. In fact, go completely mad! Make them the centre of attention. But, if you're a bit nervous about wild and studded, I've found these little cuties at Miss Selfridge for just £25! Russell who?

Strapping Young Things

They're everywhere - high and low, bright and plain. I simply love, love, love the new strappy shoes trend! From Kurt Geiger to Matalan, whatever your tastes, you can find strappy shoes to suit you. They're the perfect crossover season wear, and pretty much anything goes with these shoes. Always one to notice a trend, my trusted LOOK magazine has been picking out their favourites and putting them on their website. Top on the list are these £68 lovelies from Topshop - best worn with military-style pizazz!

However, I must admit, my heart is a little set on these £250 House of Harlow 1960 beauties. Here's dreaming of payday!

Blazer of Glory!

Ruched Sleeve Blazer, £22, New Look

Who doesn't like the blazer trend!? It suits every shape and size, looks great over a dress on a night out, over a silk top for work and over a punky Tee for Saturday shopping. Try a cream blazer with rolled-up sleeves for a take on Wham! and the 80s, or with fierce shoulders to channel a bit of Rihanna. My personal favourite are the ones with three-quarter length sleeves (or buy a long-sleeved beauty and roll them up yourself for a two-in-one blazer). Sleeves that finish at your waist are instantly slimming because they draw the eye to your narrowest point. What's not to love about that! I tend to go for basic colours - black, cream or grey - to keep it timeless, but there are some gorgeous nautical themed ones out there. Or go a bit preppy like Gossip Girl, with a shorter jacket and a brooch on the breast.

Pick of the Day

Summer's approaching fast, and there is nothing that says sun goddess like a beautiful maxi dress. Which is why, when I saw this £90 Warehouse dress, I knew my prayers had been answered. A great colour against a tan, and go extra Grecian with gold accessories and some studded gladiator sandals. All you need now is a jug of Pimms!

High Fashion meets Highstreet

I just love it when I can get something insanely expensive for a reasonable price! Eat your heart out Balmain, New Look just trumped you...

The Jegging...

It took me a long time to come round to jeggings, and I'm still coming round to the idea of shorts over tights or leggings. So jeggings under shorts!? The jury's still out on this one. Don't get me wrong - on Aggy Deyn or Daisy Lowe, perhaps. But I think you need a particular "look" to pull this new trend off. It's certainly a novel way to give the denim-on-denim trend a go. Check out H&M's take on the style...

Shorts over Jeggings: H&M. Courtesy of chictopia.com

As for me? I'm going bold and rocking the traditional shorts and Tee combo... bare the flesh and bring on Summer! But you never know - jeggings won me round, so never say never.

What do YOU think of the jeggings-under-shorts trend?

Pick of the Day

Mac coats are amazingly fashionable right now, and this £38 wonder from Debenhams is no different! Go for the traditional taupe or camel colour for a timeless quality, and wear unbuttoned over chic officewear or some edgy jeans and a statement bag. If you fancy something slightly different, try a single-breasted one, and tie the belt at the back to give yourself a waist.

Wedding Belles

This weekend, for me, is the start of the wedding season. And what better way to kick it off with a brand new dress, bang on trend, and some killer heels!? I'd like you to meet, my show-stopper (but not enough to upstage the bride) dress at just £49...

LOOK!

Tuesday has to be my favourite day of the week. Every Tuesday, religiously, I buy myself LOOK magazine. Forget the gossip, and the interviews, I'm there for the fashion! Filled with great tips, highstreet bargains and some lustworthy red carpet dresses, LOOK is the best weekly fashion magazine out there, hands down. Get yours now!

Pick of the Day

KG "Lana" Courts

Make these the centre of attention with plain trousers and blouse. Flat for comfort and sassy for style. These courts from Kurt Geiger are just £95, and are totally lustworthy. Make sure your toenails are polished to perfection though, because everyone's going to be staring at your feet!

If You Dare

Now, I'm all for bright-coloured jeans and leggings, and I'm definitely up for quirky. But is this too far? Topshop are great at statement prints and designs, and you can't beat them for kitsch, and they've not let themselves down. But however much I love these jeans (and I really, really do) could they be a bit too... much?

Heart Print Skinny Jeans: Blue

Available in pink too, and at £45, I truly love them, and can't wait to see them strolling down the highstreet; teamed with a white T-shirt and straw hat, or rocking the double denim with a big denim handbag. But who has the guts to give it a go?

Pick of the Day

Big bangles are fantastic for adding edge to any outfit. Add this one to give a bit of bling - layer up with loads of others around your wrist, or push it up to your elbow for a catwalk twist. This one is just £12 from Asos. I love the cream colour, as it goes with so much, and is bang on trend for this season's nude detailing.

Facebook!

I'm just as much a Facebook fan and obsessive user as the next person, and figured that it's a perfect way for you guys to keep an eye on my blogisms... check it out! Tell me what you think about fashion trends, what you love right now in your own wardrobe, and even suggest some topics for me to ponder on!

Military Style

Well! My Bath trip was huge amounts of fun, and I even managed to get myself a lush black military jacket from Primark. The military trend is so down my street right now - sharp and sassy with plenty of shape in the right places, as well as a bit of bling with the big gold buttons and epaulettes. The colours suit everyone, and sharp shoulders are flattering to the max!

I love New Look's range of military-style jackets at the moment - cheap and in every style to fit every shape. My current favourite is this black, single-breasted jacket. It comes in white and khaki too! Plus, a bit of steal at just £16.

These Boots Were Made for Walking...

The most amazing pair of boots I own at the moment, which conveniently go with my Accessorize hobo bag, I bought in a Moda in Pelle sale when my other boots started to leak. They're comfortable, and can be dressed down for boho chic, or dressed up for rock chick.

Black Ancord Boot

Going for £70, and available in brown too!

A Summer's Day

Summer has to be my favourite time of year... the heat, the Pimms, the clothes. Now, I'm off to Bath this weekend to see some friends, and have decided on the perfect outfit. On trend, summery and very flattering!

Mixed Print Tiered Dress

Courtesy of Warehouse for just £35! Warehouse is one of my favourite shops for cute prints and dresses. Just add boots and a denim jacket now, and switch to gladiator sandals and lots of bangles for mid-summer!

I Heart Accessorize

Now, those who know me, already know my love for bags overcomes anything and everything.
For those who don't know me... my love for bags overcomes anything and everything!

I love shoes. I love clothes. I love jewellery. And I definitely love make-up.

But I love nothing more than my bags.

There are very few places that are up to scratch for bags. My favourite gold box clutch, for example, comes from River Island, but I have very little love for the River Island logos stamped all over their bags normally, and don't often shop for bags there. But, Accessorize, I love.

I love it so much I get a fizzy feeling in my stomach as I enter the shop, knowing - just knowing - that I will come out with a brand new bag.

Now, you can imagine what heartbreak it is for me when a bag breaks. My trusted black bag of many years from H&M died on me as I was on a train platform, which is traumatic to say the least! Nevertheless, Accessorize came to my aid... And I found this beauty. Accessorize's Vivi Hobo bag... Big enough to escort my entire life around in it, and casual enough to go with most of my summer dresses. And at £32, it's not too expensive for Accessorize!

Vivi Multi-Pocket Buckle Hobo Bag

How could I say no?

Of course, I think I may have already decided the next lustworthy purchase...

Mexicana Floral Weekend Bag

It's so chic and definitely on trend for the summer's acid-brights. And just £37! Ideal for my weekends away with the girls.

Thank you Accessorize. I heart you.
