LFW Launch Party

I'm so excited! It was a big day today for London Fashion Week, and it all got off to a roaring start at the home of British fashion - Somerset House - yesterday night with the launch party.

This was the first ever official launch party for LFW (celebrating it's 25th anniversary this year), and with guests like Christopher Bailey, Sir Phillip Green and British Fashion Council's Harold Tilman on the guest list, it was an affair to remember! It also showcased a brand new aspect to LFW - we mere mortals can watch it all going down LIVE online and the soundtrack this year is provided by Burberry!

Not only that, but the likes of Twiggy, Matthew Williamson, Erin O'Connor and Stella McCartney (taking time out from prepping her Paris Fashion Week show) partied it up in the capital, celebrating the launch of Twiggy's book Twiggy: A Life in Photographs, the opening of a Herve Leger flagship store in Knightsbridge, and several other parties all across town. Phew!
So, you can see why this year's London Fashion Week is going to be so good!

My post on all today's shows will be up TOMORROW, so come back then for a peak at what's been going on in the Big Smoke.
