Caped Crusader

Double Face Collared Cape Coat

Second in my run-down of A/W10's hottest trends, I've picked the ever-elegant cape. Think 1940s chic and you've nailed it. Try Topshop Boutique for some quirky styles, but try to avoid anything too sporty in case you end up in cagoule territory! My particular favourite is this beautiful grey Jaeger cape, but to get it you have to be quick, because it's in the sale - down from £299 to £149.

Flying High

Leather Aviator Jacket

In the first of my autumn-winter 2010 posts, I've decided to announce The Jacket to be seen in this season. If you haven't already heard, the aviator jacket is the one thing you should have in your wardrobe this A/W. The highstreet is crammed with beautiful buys with affordable price tags, but I have to say, my personal fave is this ASOS number, £110. You can get it in either chocolate or tan. Get clicking!

Navy Skinny Chinos

I love chinos! There's something very Cannes about them... Topman do a gorgeous range (including a bright red pair for the more adventurous of you) but personally, I think these skinny navy chinos are perfect - get them at Topman for £26. Bargain!

Pick of the Day

Geometric Bing Bag

Loving this geometric print bag by Ted Baker! Wear it with a simple outfit to really make it pop - perfect for a pencil skirt and blouse combo for the office or plain black trousers and Tee. You can get it on Very.co.uk for £69.

Boys Corner

I love the plum-coloured checks on this Republic shirt! Bunched-up sleeves are great in the crossover to autumn-winter. Wear open-necked over a white Tee and some dark slouchy jeans. It's just hit the website here, and you can buy it for £24.99.

Pick of the Day

So if structure is the new silhouette, this All Saints number is the perfect jacket. A beautiful £55 charcoal number - add over a pencil skirt or cigarette-pant jeans and carry a rich-coloured tote bag. I love it.
